About me

Well if you’re really interested ...

I am on the better side of thirty-five and am married with two children.  My wife and I spent three years in the 1980’s working as missionaries in Belgium, leaving to return to the UK in 1988, but in the knowledge we would return to mission work in the future.

On coming back to the UK, I started to work in the  IT consultancy business for one of the big-six management consultancy firms.  We attended (and are still members of) a church in South Normanton, Derbyshire, UK where I was part of the leadership team.

In 1996/7, we sensed that the time was right to start looking at going back into mission work, and sought out some training options.  Redcliffe College, was the obvious choice for us as a family as it was (and still is!) mission based and also has an holistic approach to mission training - ie. who I am is as important as what I know.

I completed my honours degree in theology at Redcliffe in June 2001, with a 2:1 pass, and am now going on to work for HCJB World Radio, based in their Bradford Office in the UK.  One of the things I will be working on is Audiopot which is a web based ministry supporting religious broadcasters in the UK and also overseas by enabling them to share their programming output.
